Two endearing Olivers (I saw Thomas Burley but saw Connor Pickles briefley) who stole every heart, a Fagin (Neil Broadbent) who carried the character superbly, the Dodger (James Buckley) had energy, great stagecraft and agility and Nancy (Holly Comber-Moccia) stirred our hearts with her singing and portrayal. These, the main characters, were supported by a great cast of smaller parts, every one of them a joy to watch. The Bumbles (Richard Cook and Helen Woodhead) sang beautifully, the Sowberrys (Paul Bennett ans Sonia Noble) splendidly portrayed, Bill Sykes (Martin Stead) the well played villain of the show, and the many other characters who were all played with exceptional ability to round off the cast. The chorus members were enthusiastic and sang well and the orchestra gave tremendous support to a show staged on a remarkable set. Well done everyone.
