LEOS gave youth it`s chance with several leading parts given to younger members of the company.   Curly  (Dave O`Neal), and Laurey  (Anna McAuley), gave competent performances, both singing and acting, complimenting each other very well.   Jack Draper gave a confident portrayal as Will Parker, along with Rachelle Bragg, quite outstanding as Ado Annie.   Ben Woolley left us in no doubt as to the character of Jud Fry, demonstrating his dark side quite effectively.   Aunt Ella, played by Kathryn McAuley, and Kheenan Jones as Ali Hakin,  supported well with good performances.

There was strong support from the Chorus, particularly on the vocal side.  Enthusiastic dance routines, executed with gusto, worked well, and helped to keep the tempo of the piece flowing,  along with an excellent orchestra.  A thoroughly enjoyable evening was much appreciated by the audience.
