Of Mice and Men

This year Circle Players celebrate their 80th anniversary and they certainly kicked off the season with a winner.  Making her debut as a director, twenty four year old Ellie Ball’s production had so much tension you could cut the atmosphere with a knife.  The two leads, George (Thom Handley) and Lennie (David J. Daly) were played with great strength and were well supported by the remainder of the cast.  Even with a limited set the company managed to ensure that the audience were well entertained.  This play was a great start to a special season.
