The Director Elaine Thompson ensured that this popular comedy by Michael Frayn moved at a cracking pace from the outset and the cast of nine worked hard to achieve the maximum amount of laughter from the audience. The plot revolves around a touring company rehearsing or performing the play "Nothing On". Concerns grow about Selsdon Mowbray - Tim Woodward was in his element playing this part, who over indulges in his favourite tipple, in spite of the efforts of the Director and Stage Manager competently played by Neil James and Rodney Davis respectfully, and the rest of the cast to hide the bottles from him. Other notable performances came from Elizabeth Brown,Lizzie Bevan, Rachel Casiday , Martyn Buck and Justine Dodd.
The set was designed and built by members of the company and worked very well in such a confined space as the Attic Theatre stage.
Congratulations to everyone involved in the production. The audience were treated to a delightful and memorable night out.
