Its been a long time since a company staged this show, and BMOS certainly did it proud.

Faye Easto played Eliza and how she lit up the stage.  From the girl selling flowers outside the Theatre to the young lady who sang 'I could Have Danced All Night' she was a joy to watch and to listen to.  This lady will go far.  The remainder of the well know trio was made up of Alistair Jolliffee as Henry Higgins and Stewart Keller as Colonel Pickering.  These three worked so well together, Stephen Duckham should be proud of of them and the whole production.  There were some brilliant cameo roles for example Jennifer Eglinton as Mrs. Higgins.  Wonderful role, together with Sharon Tozer as Mrs. Pearce and and David Wilkes as Karpathy.  Also Freddie Tibbs as Freddy Eynsford-Hill.  Outstanding voice.

One brilliant piece of casting was Patrick Pryce as Alfred Doolittle.  His two songs were just outstanding and the choreography by Sally Jolliffee was amazing.

The set was very well thought out and the orchestra conducted by David Easto was very well balanced.

This could not be called an amateur production.
