Musicals & Brass

I went to see what I thought was going to be a concert - the usual songs from the shows but what I saw was amazing.

The stage was set with a star backcloth and three levels with the members of the brass band sitting on the various levels which was very impressive on the eye.  There were 32 numbers in all - comprising solos, duets. trios and ensemble numbers.

The show was compiled and directed by Aimee Clare.  This was Aimee's debut in directing a musical show, althoyugh she has directed a play in the past but this was a new - and very successful venture for her.

It would be impossible to mention a particular number or singer, because the whole show was terrific both to watch and to listen to.
