I attended this production as a last minute stand in for the Regional Rep and I must say that it was a delight to see so many committed young people on stage, some of them for the 1st time.

It was billed as a Musical Mix up and never has a title been so apt. There was everything possible in this programme which according to the programme was largely devised by the children themselves.
There was a very appreciative audience of parents and grandparents as well as others and the children treated us to a most varied programme of songs from the shows, comedy sketches as well as some acrobatics and pop music.

In a programme containing so much variety it is always in my opinion unfair to single out any 1 individual so I will just say that everyone who took part played their various parts very well.

Costumes which had been made in the main by parents and helpers and props were all very colourful
There was some very good choreography which had also been done by the children who all gave of their all during the production..

Congratulations must go to Joan and Alan who with their assistants  produced a very good afternoon’s entertainment.

It was also good to see 7 young men in the cast which is most unusual these days and considering the bad press young people get these days I would congratulate everyone and wish them every success in the future,

Well done ‘Kids On Stage
