Few theatre companies today bring pantomimes to the stage for the appeal of very young children, the tiny tots. To their credit this company cater for a wide age range with scenes of charm and surprise which delight the very young in every pantomime scene.

Wonderful to see children enjoying this special night out as they watch totally engrossed. Well written by Lesley Alexander Carter who also found time to appear, and with her team made the pantomime go well with their technical skills!

Enchanting make believe scenes were created with just the right balance and the traditional running along side the more modern upbeat numbers with young dancers from Dance Beats excelling, brilliantly choreographed by Emma Evans.

The title role of Mother Goose was given star quality by Rob Jones his wry delivery and laid back hilarity was priceless he makes a perfect Dame, warm, smiling, full of fun and integrates so well with all the cast. Tony Reynolds made a great Old Mother Hubbard Tony is always so good on stage, Mike Davies as Simple Simon, comedy perfection and Bill Chase as Bob the Builder brought the house down! Golden voices from Helen Langford as Jill and Gabrijela Klaric-Grubb as Suki

Another very good performance from Crickhowell, who have a wealth of talent and with an enthusiastic cast of almost thirty on stage great to see everyone playing their parts so well and being given the chance to shine

Sympathetically well directed by Jacqui Daniell and given upbeat numbers with quality timing from Musical Director Dian Winter and her musicians Thank you for your warm welcome great fun, fantastic atmosphere and an enjoyable all the family production to bring sunshine to darkest January Well done!
