WOW - what a great pantomine. From the colourful opening scene we knew we were in for a brilliant show. "Mother Goose" played by David Wicks was just superb and led the company thoughout the show. He was well supported by "Bobby Goose" (Cam Conway), "Jill Goose" (Carla Valentino) and "Colin" (Elizabeth Landon). Traditional panto characters played in the traditional panto style. Georgia Westley was a beautiful "Fairy Queen" and Duncan Balcon was an outstanding "Demon King" - looking every inch of the part! Other characters played by Amy Ford, Mackenzie Pengelly, Harry Brown, Clive Minor, Brian Heathcote supported the other principle characters well. Special mention to Louise Fenwick a lovely "Priscilla the Goose". The Senior and Junior Dancers were excellent as were the chorus - everyone was smiling!! They were obviously enjoying themselves as much as the audience were. The costumes, and I lost count of how many, were brilliant - a big thankyou to the costume ladies. Great set, brilliant stage crew and props all added to this excellent production. The 5 piece orchestra were superb. Congratulations to EVERYONE back stage, on stage and front- of- house in anyway involved in this great show and one which Spencer Barlow must be very proud of.
