Magic Of The Musicals

It was a privilege to be present at this superb concert. There was truly magic alive in the air. Staged at short notice to celebrate the return of live theatre, this was a glorious evening of great melody and inspiring lyrics ensured to warm the cockles of any one's heart. Magnificently staged with the full 28 stong company seated in a semicircle at the back of the stage we were treated to many old favourites (and some newer ones too.)  All the songs instantly connected such was the tangible joy of the performers to be actually back in front of a hugely appreciative audience.  There is so much talent in this company.

Richard Sanderson is an outstanding compere. Barely managing to contain his enthusiasm he was our perfect host.

What more needs to be said?  It was wonderful to be greeted by so many friends. By the way, the new gilded decorations around the balcony caught my eye; very smart.  

I can honestly vouch for the fact musical theatre came home last night and is in blooming  good shape once again. Thank you Pendle Hippodrome Theatre Company.
