I have not seen Made In Dagenham before so I didn't know what to expect, but with a simple well planed set with side extension it projected the right atmosphere of kitchen, living room, and factory.
The scene changes flowed well from one to another with a good stage crew.
Orchestra was a little loud but as characters all had microphones it did not distract or spoil the enjoyment of the show.
The story revolves around the Ford car factory strike for equal pay in the factory and this was well portrayed, making the story easy to follow and understand.
The three main scenes to impress were ‘This is America’ for the costumes, car presentation ‘Cortina’, and ‘Stand Up’ at the end.
Rita O'Grady (Jo Dey) made a convincing lead, as did husband Eddie (Charlie Daniels) other prominent parts were played by Tooley (Dave Wischhusen) Barbara Castle (Caroline Cane-Richardson), and for fun Beryl (Anna Wallis) and what fun congrats.
Good characters played by all, with excellent singing.
The audience and I really enjoyed the production, well done to everyone evolved.
