LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS                         EXMOUTH PAVILION 26TH NOVEMBER

Little Shop of Horrors with E.M.C.O was rather special. The set was very effective along with great costumes and indeed, lighting but above all shone the acting skills along with the singing and choreography ……superb
It has to be said that this show is not one of my favourites, finding it rather macabre, but I do believe that this production had me converted! The four girls Ronnette, Crystal, Chiffon and Supreme showed off their great acting and characterisation skills and their general persona created the atmosphere that had the show getting off to a good start.
Seymour sang and played the part with great aplomb as did Audrey, a great couple they made!
Mushnik gave a great portrayal and hit the spot.
Orin had it all, energy, acting, comedy, singing skills and one of the best portrayals that I have seen this talented actor perform.
The mechanics of the plant were very good and it was a great looking plant as man eating plants go!
The timing was a credit, as were the chorus scenes, a truly colourful show well directed by Martin John Nicholls together with a skilled choreographer Debra Butler and Musical Director Anthony Lees who must have been exhausted every night!
By far the best production I have seen of” Little Shop of Horrors,” so thank you E.M.C.O for a good evening of great entertainment and I look forward to your next production
