Meek Shop Assistant Seymour pines for co-worker Audrey. During a total eclipse, he discovers an unusual plant he names Audrey 2 which feeds only on human blood. The growing plant attracts a great deal of business for the previously struggling store. After Seymour feeds Audrey's boyfriend Orin to the plant after ‘Orin’s accidental death’, he must come up with more bodies for the increasingly blood thirsty plant.
Perfectly cast with excellent use of a relatively a small stage.

Director and Choreographer Harry Cohen brought this musical to life with flair and sensitivity.

The Street Urchins
‘Crystal’ - Emily Bailey
‘Ronnette’ - Beth Allcock
‘Chiffon’ - Jodie Clayton
Your opening "Little Shop of Horrors" was sung with vivacity and style in perfect harmony, indicative of the high standard production that was to follow.

‘Seymour’ - Ryan Stanton
Really captured the essence of the insecure and naive character to perfection. With imaginative body language and dialogue delivered with real feeling you created a sympathetic and likeable character.

‘Audrey’Amy Smith
Described as a gum snapping bleached blonde, lacking in education and self-esteem. Audrey at face value is a one-dimensional character to play but you managed to play Audrey with real internal conflict. Real chemistry between Seymour.

‘Mr Mushnik’ - Nick Amatt
Lovely stern portrayal and your constant physical distance from Seymour told the audience all they needed to know about the relationship.

‘Orin’ - Chris Bailey
Again, a character so easy to overplay; to slip into Victorian Melodrama mode or even pantomime baddy. This was a measured, thoughtful and perfectly balanced interpretation. Really well done.

‘Audrey 2’ - Becky Brown
Your Operatic voice delivered each line with a lurking feeling of menace.

‘Audrey 2’ - Puppeteer Hannah Wallwork
Managed the synchronisation (always harder than it looks) to bring Audrey 2 to believable life.

Dave Dossett and the band. Lovely to hear an orchestra accompanying perfectly rather than competing with. Well Done.
