Spa theatre juniors performed Little Shop of Horrors which follows the story of Seymour and his strange and mysterious plant.

The principle cast consisted of Aaron Crockford (Seymour) who gave an excellent portrayal of the character. Libby Hancox (Audrey) who played the character superbly and had a lovely singing voice.

Megan Bish all (Mrs Mushnik) played the more commonly seen male role. However this did not detract from a well given performance.

Kayleigh Sheehan's (Audrey 2) character showed through in her voice and was excellently done. It was a nice addition to pop up in the plant at the end.

Rounding up the principle cast was Izzy Owen-Ward (the dentist) which has a small but effectively played role.

There were various smaller roles for the remaining chorus which were all played with confidence and ease. The trio of Lauren Bignall (Chiffon), Lily Crockford (Crystal) and Ruby Jackson (Ronnette) were fabulous and had excellent characterisation throughout the whole show.

The company as a whole all performed well.

The choreography was beautifully executed and costumes fit into the style. The set was crafted well on a small stage.

All in all, it was an enjoyable performance
