This was a really good fun evening's entertainment at Grassington.

The first play, 'Listen', told of the death of Viv (Penny Hart- Woods) who then returns,in spirit, to her own funeral. Here she learns that her husband and her neighbour are having an affair and not only that, have planned her murder and made it look like suicide. Somehow she has to communicate with the rest of her family to try to get them to see the truth. Penny seemed very at ease with the part of Viv and was very amusing in her attempts to cope with the after life. She was well supported by a very strong cast. This must have been an extremely difficult play for them to learn as conversations were very similar and talking to someone who isn't supposed to be there couldn't have been easy.

The second play,'Luvvies' took us to a quiz evening for local Amateur Dramatic Societies. A very funny play as anyone connected with am dram could surely recognise many of the characters and situations. Once again it was a very strong cast and they entered fully into their characters. There was well directed movement around the table which meant that the play didn't become too static. I did feel an urge to join in the quiz which shows how involved the cast made you feel.

Lighting and sound were excellent for both plays and added to the polished performances. A fun filled evening which everyone needed.
