This really was a triumph for the young people taking part in this production and of course for Director Jacqui Freeman, MD Lee Reynolds and Choreographer Emily Murray and the whole team for all their hard work.  All the principals were certainly no strangers to performing and all they had learnt in other productions was put to good use in their Les Mis performances. James Brock gave a very strong performance as Jean Valjean and the same applies to Jack Allsobrook as Javert.  Lily Bannpn gave all the pathos that was needed to the tragic character of Fantine and May Abercrombie was delightful as Cosette as was Lulu Freeman as Little Cossette.  Excellnt performances as well from Patrick Wells as Marius, Charlotte Weller as Eponine and Oskar Langley as Enjolras.  The comedy due of the ghastly characters of Madame Thenardier and her husband were extremely well portrayed by Charlotte Kidd and Tyler Sargeant and I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye in the house when Gavroche was killed - such a great role for a youngster and Noah May was ideal for the part.  All those taking the smaller parts and those in the chorus really shone, giving tremendous life to what was going on.  Well done to all.
