As I walked out from this production my mind was in a turmoil.  Where could I start.  This wonderful production of Les Miserables (School Edition) was so well staged and directed.  Under the musical direction of Mel O'Donnell the company sang really well with some exceptional talent.  For young people of their age the harmonies were so professional.

The set, though minimuallistic really just fitted in with the atmospehere of the piece.  It really did not require anything else.

With so many members on stage I cannot name each member but I really enjoyed the performace of Richard Loughran as Javert, a wonderful voice and his rendition of 'Stars' sent shivers through the audience, and the very tallented Matt Smith as Jean Valjean.  'Bring him Home' was outstanding. Ciaran Walker and Georgia Rabone as Thernadier and Madam Thernadier were hilarious.  They each have an outstanding talent.

Even though there were a few very minor hiccups with the sound, nothing could take away the quality of this performance.

Congratulations to every one at SOSage and I look forward to seeing you all soon.
