It’s incredible to think of how much young talent was on display in this production, and how fortunate the society is to have such a wealth of youngsters to choose from, the audition’s must be mind boggling. This cast has not had life experiences enough to justify such mature and experienced performances all credit to the production team of Nick Cupit Director and Anthony Quimby Musical Director.

Set on the revolve this show opened and closed to the most amazing orchestration spine chilling with all the musicality of a west end show.

The principals and ensemble moved across the revolve with the greatest of ease making the whole show so enthralling and convincing. If ever I wanted to see a star in the making I would look no further than Jean Valjean (Nick Gartland) an outstanding performance words fail me as to what to say about your performances and I’ve see many now the strength of character you bought to this role was truly professional the adulation you received was so justified. Javert (George King) there are times when not ever role suits certain actors but my how majestic you stood in this role a command of the role right from the off and maintained throughout truly impressive. Marius (Garion Frith) you young man shouldn’t have the ability to reduce the audience to tears of love, sadness, joy and tenderness, the way in which you held the audience was fantastic weaving between the friend and true love, with a voice that lands so beautifully on your ears amazing characterisation well done. Most societies would be happy to have at least one leading lady oh my my how lucky you are, three tenors eat your heart out what voices and presence you all have, magically spell bounding I came twice to see this show with friends who are fanatically passionate about Les Miserables and they said it could have been the west end. Ladies Cosette (Phoebe Williams) Eponine ( Holly Gabathuler) and Fantine (Amy Dewsnip) you were all so outstanding, fabulous performances from all three well done. Enjololras (Greg Fryer) truly difficult harmonies which you took in your stride and gave a wonderful performance. Gavroche (Clayton Roberts) and Little Cosette (Sophia Thomson) both of you are the next generation to this society and you’ve already made your mark wow such confident performances. The whole ensemble gave of their all in this show leaving a lasting memory for the audience to take away your standing ovations were so justified. This is meant as a constructive criticism you all looked a little to clean and I know it’s difficult if your costumes are hired and really it is nit picking.
