Elle Woods is dumped by her boyfriend Warner, who goes off to Harvard Law School.  Determined to get him back, Elle follows him to Harvard eventually outdoing him both academically and in her search for love.  Befriending classmate Emmett and hairdresser Paulette along the way, Elle finds out that books and looks aren’t mutually exclusive.

This was a production full of talent and much enthusiasm from all the company.  Leading the company as Elle Woods was Peyton Lockley, who was rarely off the stage.  She never faltered in the role.  She was well supported by Maddie Howard, who sang ‘Ireland’ so well, Arlo Conway-Ford as Warner and Daniel George as Emmett.  Great support came from the remainder of the cast.  All of them working well together to give a first class performance.  There was also some great musical numbers performed by the ensemble.

Costumes looked good and the scenery worked well on this size stage.

Music was good and was just at the correct level so that every word could be heard in this near sell out audience.

Louise Sall and Tim Rice, as producers did a great job and must be congratulated.

With a number of great shows in the pipeline, the future is bright for Script Youth.
