LEGALLY BLONDE

This musical is based on the successful movie of the same name,we see Elle Woods  Harvards beloved blond transform from dizzy blond as she realizes her potential as a lawyer.

Elle played by Lara Michell  whowas on stage for most of the show gave a confident and funny performance. She had good backup from the Greek Chorus, these girls worked well together. Emmett Forrest was well played by Jonathan Hunt who gave us a relaxed, likeable character.Kyle Pendley as Pofessor Callanahan the villian of the show gave a good account of the character. As beautician Paulette Julia Tromans and her U.P.S guy Kyle played by Adam Partridge had some very funny scenes together the partnership worked well. George Stuart  gave solid performance as Warner his vocals in the song ' Serious ' where he dumps Elle were sung with confidence.

Other chacters were well cast and added to the success of the show with good chorous scenes and well drilled dance routines. The two dogs got the oohs and aahs from the audiene, with good costumes and well lit sets.

The sound on couple of occasions I could not hear but overall it was an excellent evenings entertainment, well received by the audience.
