Straight into a bright lively performance, this show did not falter on high energy throughout the entire production. Elle Woods, played by Abbie Hand caught our attention right from the start with her excellent vocals, complemented by great acting. Cameron Beattie in the role of Warner Huntington had us all convinced that he really was in love and cared for Elle, until of course he was more interested in his studies at Harvard and showed us his selfish side. The role was well played by Cameron, maintaining great characterisation throughout. Emmett Forrest was played by Neil Simpson, and he brought lovely empathy to the role and along with excellent singing and acting gave a solid performance.  In the role of Vivienne, Kirsten Longmuir showed both the nasty side of the character and the gentle caring individual she becomes later in the show as she becomes a real supportive friend of Elle. A great performance. Judith Miller brought instinctive comedy to the role, and her rendition of ‘Ireland’ had us tapping our feet along with her, and Kyle the delivery man played by Sean Quinn, added to the comedy. No production of Legally Blonde can happen without a great Bend and Snap, and this one was no exception bringing about the right result! Professor Callahan was suitably nasty and sleazy, and Blood In The Water was well delivered. Rebecca Munro portrayed the character of Enid Hoops well and ensured she bought the right amount of comedy to the stage.

As the second act opened, we were introduced to Brooke Wyndham, played by Nicole O’Rafferty. She, along with her fellow fitness gang, gave a great performance of ‘Whipped Into Shape’ keeping it bright, lively and fast paced. In fact, the entire show went at a fast pace with the excellent Delta Nu group and Greek chorus adding to the plot. There were numerous supporting roles, and each person played their part exceptionally well, bringing a wide range of outstanding performances to the stage. We mustn't forget our four-legged friends who took on significant roles in the production. Both rose to the occasion and thoroughly enjoyed their starring roles!

The production team should be congratulated in bringing this entertaining and great show to the stage. It is always a pleasure to see the culmination of their hard work in ensuring a seamless production. With an effective set, all scene transitions were smooth and added to the overall quality of this production. Well done!
