OMG you guys !! Where do I start? What an amazing show from the beginning to the end. The clever use of the sets enabled the scenes to follow each other seamlessly. Congratulations to all the production team of Artistic Director - Wayne Newton, Co Director - Rebecca Witty, Musical Director - Robin Parish, Choreographers - Eve McIntosh, Amy Sykes, Sophie Haigh and Wayne Newton.
There were some excellent characterisations within this cast led by Elle Woods (Rebecca Robertson) who acted and sang this huge part brilliantly. Her delivery and timing was outstanding and she made the role her own. The love interests of Warner Huntington (Kieran Lichfield) and Emmett Forrest (Jason Goodall) both acted and played their parts well. Professor Callaghan (Stewart Robertson) gave a strong and controlled performance. Hairdresser Paulette Bonafonte (Amy Wilson) gave a wonderful comical performance with very good vocals. There were very strong performances by the characters of Vivienne Kensington (Rhi Appleyard), Enid Hoopes (Olivia Smyth) and Brooke Wyndham (Evangeline Doods) together with some very funny moments from Kyle UPS Guy (Charlie Clayton), Nikos (Simon Preston) and Carlos (Matt Bates). All the principals gave great performances. There was not one weak link. Last but not lease I must give a shout out to the Delta Nu/Greek chorus who were brilliant.
The show had great energy and movement. The vocals from both the principals and the company was outstanding. Congratulations everyone. The production team should be very proud. It was a wonderful evening. Thank you Wilton for the invitation.
