What an energy packed production! From start to finish the stage was alive with these energetic and talented young people.

The show tells of a young girl, Elle Woods, who follows her ex boyfriend to Harvard Law School in the hope of winning him back. With the help of sympathetic Emmett and newly acquired friend Paulette Elle finally rises to become star pupil.

Cara Mottram as Elle was very confident in her role, dancing and singing to perfection. She was well supported by Will Sadler as Emmett and Harry Tedford as Warner both with good strong singing voices.

There were some lovely cameo roles throughout the show. Special mention must go to Samantha Ball as the earthy but kind hearted Paulette, Carlene Wood as keep fit star Brooke Wyndham and Rob Place as the ever so gay Nicos.

The singing and dancing were faultless with some brilliant dance routines and it was good to see a variety of characters in the company numbers.

The stage was used to its full potential and thanks  to a very cleverly designed set there was no overcrowding and no pauses for set changes.

The costumes were very eye catching and again designed to give everyone their own character.

A large orchestra, also with lots of young members, coped very well with what seemed to be a difficult score altough if they had been toned down a touch it would have helped with hearing the words.

A great show and one to be very proud of. It was lovely to see so many young people involved and having such a great time on stage.

Oops, nearly forgot the dogs, they were grrrreat !
