I was sorry to find that CATS had not succeeded in buying The Theatre Church, the home in the past for a number of local amateur societies as well as this group. This show, staged at a local acadamy proved to be a great choice. The floor space needed was huge, which was just as well, there were over seventy young people on stage. Tiered seating was full , more seats were needed for an appreciative audience. What a brilliant show this turned out to be. Sam Cain playing the lead role of Joseph had a great voice and he looked good on stage . I hope that we see more of this young man in the future. Two songs ` Close Every Door` and `Any Dream`sung by him were outstanding. Again I had the pleasure of listening and watching the talented Rebecca Bolton as the Narrator, Her singing and acting are a joy to watch, having lovely stage presence, especially with the younger members. Her smile rarely left her face and her outfits were lovely. All the men playing the brothers were well cast and worked well together. I enjoyed `Canaan Days`sung by Simeon, (Conner Guffog),Jacob (Liam Christie) and chorus. Another great number involving everyone was` Benjamin Calypso` led by Tim O`Callaghan playing Judah. Great singing. It was wonderful to see so many young people on stage enjoying themselves My congratulations to the director Louise for all her hard work ,I can`t wait for your next show. Thank you for the care and warm welcome given to me
