Debut Youth Theatre Production -

~~It is always a great pleasure to see this show and this production did not let any preconceived notions down.  It was staged in a small studio area with a full audience, excellent sound and lighting together with speedy and efficient scene changing and backed up by a fine group of musicians.
Joseph, with its many smaller parts always gives an opportunity for the cast to show off their individual talents as well as performing as a chorus.  This was very ably demonstrated by the large young cast who so obviously thoroughly enjoyed performing. Congratulations must go to Director, Wendy South, Musical Director, Rachael Thorpe and Choreographer Anita Pritchard – it is no easy task teaching all the words, music and complicated movements to that number of children.
It is not my usual style with Youth Groups to signal out individuals especially with such a fine overall company performance but I feel that the quality of the three Narrators deserves special mention. Sophie Barnard, Caitlin Buckley and Georgia Murray gave such a high standard of performance vocally with excellent stage presence that I must signal them out for special mention. They were superb!
The end result was a resounding success and all concerned deserve hearty congratulations. The enthusiasm of all the cast was wonderful to see and overall it was an excellent performance.
