My first visit to Young Performers and `Wow` what an introduction. From the moment the curtain opened to reveal a superb set, with an impressive Pharaoh at the back, a catwalk surround and the Band positioned in the centre, it was the start of a memorable performance.

An enthusiastic, well drilled chorus led the way in a very slick presentation that would have many adult societies green with envy. The very difficult role of the Narrator was competently handled by Laura Davey. Zak Charlesworth, as Joseph, held the stage throughout with a wonderful performance. George Parkinson, as Jacob, sang confidently and the principal line up was completed by Matt Biddulph, as Pharaoh, with a cameo of a great `Elvis` impersonation that had a full house in stitches.

Good support from the rest of the principals helped with the overall impression.

Well costumed with a classy band, the adult support backstage must have a great impact on the company and Young Performers have certainly left their mark on one very impressed N.O.D.A. reviewer.
