Once again this group of young actors have excelled themselves, putting on a wonderful show.
The difficult part of Dr Jekyll who transforms into the evil Mr Hyde, was played by Ben Whitehead. His vocals & acting as he changes character were without doubt the star of this show. he two women in his life were strongly played by Rebecca Bolton `Emma` & Katy Ball `Lucy`. Their musical numbers were really well sung, including Emma singing `Once Upon A Dream` & Lucy singing `Someone Like You` & `A New Life`. Other smaller parts were all performed very well.
I must however return to the performance of Ben Whitehead, singing `This Is The Moment` & the duet with Emma `Take Me As I Am` which were superb.
The transformation scenes were outstanding, especially the confrontation scene were Jekyll & Hyde fight for domination.
Altogether a brilliantly done show with great costumes and well run orchestra.
Thank you so much for the invitation & my congratulations to Louise for a great evenings entertainment.
