Emily and Dexter have directed a very slick show.  Full of family fun with lots of opportunties for the audience to join in.  With more than twenty people on stage this production was full of big numbers.

Chris Commander played baddie 'Crowfoot', the evil giants sidekick.  How the younger members in the audience enjoyed booing him.  The Dame ' Dame Buttercup, was played by Paul Wescott who gave a good performace.  Her Son, 'Silly Billy' was played by James Hutt, who had a good rapport with the audience. Jack, played by Phoebe Hooper, was your traditional principal boy, with a good singing voice.   Jack's love interest Maisie Moo was played by Phebe Jackson, who played the part with a strong Black Country accent.  Sometimes this came over to strong.  (As a black country boy even I had some problems understanding her).  The Mayor and Mayoress were played by Mark Nattrass and Suzy Donnelly who played his very overbearing wife.  They were supported by King Harold, Ian Cornock.

The costumes were of the usual high standard of Sutton Arts espeically the Cow costume, really good.  The set builders went to town on this and how it showed.

Well dont to all at Sutton Arts. Another hit
