~~An enthusiastic audience had a good time with this pantomime, joining in wholeheartedly as required by the script that supplied all the ingredients needed to create a traditional show. With a predominantly young, eager cast, there were good portrayals, particularly by Olivia Thompson as Jack Zola. A super little cameo from Freddie Burton as the Town Crier, certainly one to watch for the future. Charlotte Cogley and Emmie Nicholson, as Skegg and Flem, added to the humour. David Jones as Dairy Leigh gave his all to keep the audience on board, as the very well attired `Dame`. Rob Mason, was excellent as Chancellor Leech, the sinister `Baddie`, and Colleen Pratt kept the whole thing moving along as Gordon Zola.
The young dance troupe gave a good display with well executed routines, and, last but not least, the chorus of youngsters supplied excellent support. Together with a simple set, lighting and sound this was a good family entertainment.
