A very colourful production of this pantomime favourite.
Callie Burley as Jack led the company well with a good stage presence and voice. She was ably assisted by Jodie Swann as Simple Simon who had the audience laughing along with her. Chris Knight played a very believable Dame in a variety of bright costumes. Pam Holburn played good Fairy Sugardust and Jane Austin as her nemesis Piccalilli. They were well supported by the remainder of the principals and a good sounding chorus who sang with gusto in all of their numbers.
Giant Buster Gut-Bucket was well voiced by Craig Poxon who had some of the small children hiding in parents laps with the remainder booing at him.
The cloths used were very effective and bright.
Costumes were good especially the finale ones.
A good all round production.
