Into the Woods

This was certainly an Into The Woods with a difference - it was staged very minimalistically probably influenced by the American revival. 

I felt that the lack of costumes and the scenery coupled with the loss of definition from some of the characters lost a lot of the fairy tale magic  The improvisation throughout the production did however introduce various elements of humour not normally experienced in the traditional productions of  Sondheim's masterpiece. 

Collectively the singing was of top quality as was the piano accompaniment provided by Leigh White.  Keiran certainly has a flair for adaptation.
