A revised version of this well remembered film which was presented with a great sense of fun to keep the audience chuckling. The large chorus of maids, footmen etc. were the narrators and provided the links between scenes. Tracy and her Mother were rather scatterbrained, but the younger sister Dinah, well played by Emma Chapman, seemed to have her finger on the pulse and shocked the adults from time to time. Dexter and Uncle Willie were two more good characters and along with Liz and Mike were most enjoyable to watch. Seth was very nice and gained my sympathy as he must have repented his wicked life but I couldn't find any sympathy in my heart for George - he was Pomposity personified - really well done!
A very pleasant evening with some great Porter songs to sing as we made our way home.
