Here we have a new show based on an old TV series 'The Fonz', which was running in 1970/80's so there must be quite a number of people who will remember it. It was lovely to see the girls wearing the highly feminine styles of nipped in waists, full circular skirts with lots of petticoats and the boys in smart suits or casual leather jackets.
Except for the title song the music was new to me but the choreographer and the company created some jolly good numbers and had a great time with them. There was not one poor character in the cast - they all played their parts very well and the unexpected appearance of Elvis Presley and James Dean to sing with Fonzie was well done and very amusing. We did miss some of the dialogue because of the loud band but it was a very entertaining evening enjoyed by a good sized, appreciative audience.
