The story of Arthur Kipps as relayed by Arthur Kipps was very well performed. Kipps ,played by Ali Macdougall, jumped from storyteller to character with ease in fact at timed you actually thought that Ali Macdougall was Kipps.partnered with Hannah Nelson as Anne between them kept this lively production at a fever pitch level at times. Strong characters such as Jim Lavery as Shalford and Robert Crawford as Chitterlow helped to bring a high performance level to the show. Kipps 3 friends played by Graeme Aitken, Euan Dixon, and Mathew Gilhooley played very well together as a team within the team. The Walsingham family portrayed by Evelyn Purves as Mother, Laura Paterson as Helen, Mark Becher as her brother kept this air of snobbery beween themselves and Kipps at all times. The main company brought a spark of life to this period piece. Their performance of Flash Bang Wallop had the audience rising to their feet. Great singing by all. Indeed this was a very happy production.

Congratulations to one and all for a superb evening.
