This production had drive, enthusiasm and energy from the start. Cerys Moore brilliantly portrayed the part of Tracy. Edna was played by Jack Stewart with real character and attitude. As Corny Collins, Logan Byrne was both cute and cheeky with such charisma and natural comedic timing coupled with great musicality. Great performances were also provided by Shay Greenhorn (Wilbur), Aimee Moore (Penny Pingleton), Morgan McLeod (Prudy Pingleton), Emily Franchi (Amber Von Tussle), Quinn Muirhead (Velma VonTussle), Joe McAdam (Link Larkin) and Ailiesh McInnes (Motormouth Maybelle) who presented a fabulous rendition of ‘I Know Where I’ve Been’. Choreography was sharp and dialogue was clear, crisp and well timed in the delivery of the various catch lines. The company must be congratulated for their singing and the fact that the choral singing was in harmony. The production team together with the members of the adult company must be praised to the highest for the tutoring and support they gave this young cast. This was the fifth junior production that the company has presented and I can only describe it as outstanding. A fabulous show which all, both on and off stage, must be extremely proud of.
