Guys and Dolls is set in 1940’s New York and follows Sky Masterson and Nathan Detroit’s bet and takes you into the world of Crap Shooting.

The Principle cast is again cast well by Rugby Theatre and features a number on speaking roles but mainly: -

Andy Horsley (Sky Masterson) portrayed an excellent role and captured the essence of Sky and it was lovely to watch the Character grow as the performance went on and also had lovely chemistry with Jade Rayfield (Sarah Brown) who looked at ease in the role both with excellent vocal abilities.

Gwyn Wright (Nathan Detroit) is always a joy to watch on stage and this was no exception and as above had excellent chemistry with Sophie Jones (Miss Adelaide) who portrays the role as you would expect and both were a joy to watch and listen to.

Pete Herring ( Nicely-Nicely Johnson) & Alex Yorke ( Benny Southstreet) were a very funny duo in all they did on stage and played lovely characters.

Simon Ainley (Arvide Abernathy) rounds off the main principle cast and does a lovely rendition of “More I cannot wish you”

The remaining named roles together with everyone involved in the show all added lovely touches to the performance.

The Chorography, set and costumes all looked the part and added to the performance.

An enjoyable performance.
