I am always impressed when I see one of the shows put on  by  St Philip`s Junior Workshop. This was no exception, with most under sixteen years of age, the cast must be commended with the result. The production team must have worked very hard with all these youngsters.

The four principals were outstanding. Connor Guffog  gave a great performance as Sky Masterson, the gambler who falls in love with Sarah Brown, the Mission Doll beautifully played by Emily Abercrombie. Their duets were brilliant.

Nathan Detroit was well played by Jordan Mayoh-Etchells. As the wheeler-dealer engaged to Miss Adelaide for fourteen years, he had everyone smiling as he desperately tried to get out of actually marrying her. Amelia Atherton was brilliant as Miss Adelaide. Her number explaining why she has a cold and her duet with Nathan

`Sue Me` was super.

All the smaller parts worked very hard to get the characters just right and it was obvious, well done everybody.

Plaudits must be given to all backstage. Sets and changes were fast and well done.

The M.D.  Margaret obviously worked hard to get the harmonies right. Costumes were lovely, especially the mission girls and those in Havana.

Thank you for your kind invitation and care given to me and my friend.
