Grease

I am very grateful to Ossett Youth Theatre for giving such a wonderful production of Grease as this will be my last visit    to do a show report as the Regional Rep for Noda North East Region 7 and 5A it will be a lasting memory.

The casting for this production was outstanding in all sections full of well acted and brilliantly choreographed numbers. The Greased Lightning one was simply amazing and what a super car on the stage it made the scene so very real. Oliver Hornby (Danny Zuko) gave a very fine performance full of swagger as the part requires and he was well supported by Emilya Owen-Herrera as Sandy Dumbrowski she showed just the right amount of sweetness as the new  girl  in town. We had some very impressive portrayals from the three Pink Ladies Megan Hughes (Frenchy) Elizabeth Drake (Jan)   and Kate Gleghorn (Marty). Elliott Cosgrove (Kenickie) was very suited in his role as partner for Emmi Huffinley as Rizzo who was just perfect for this role she had just the right attitude and was simply outstanding. The Burger Palace Boys Tyler Warren (Roger) Evan Worth (Doody) and Liam Ibbotson (Sonny) gave a great deal to add to this production they all sung and danced with complete conviction.

 As this is my last show report I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the societies that I have represented  in Region 7 for all the kind invitations. We have made a lot of friends over the last 34 years. It has been a pleasure and priviledge to serve Noda societies Dorothy & I will miss you all very much so go on ‘Breaking A Leg’.
