It is always good to see a panto that is not produced very often but "Goldilocks and the 3 Bears" was simply outstanding. The opening scene, "The Village" set the standard for this super production - lots of smiling faces from the ensemble who were obviously enjoying themselves and this came across to the audience. "Goldilocks" played by Shannon Nicholson led the company and was well supported by Neil Forster as a very funny "Dame Dolly Dumpling". Lots of characters in this panto - not possible to mention everyone but suffice to say the "baddies" were very bad and the "goodies" very good and we all cheered and booed throughout the show! Must mention "Buttercup" (the panto cow) beloved by everyone! The senior chorus kept the panto moving along at a terrific pace as did the junior chorus (I saw the Red Team) - they were just great. The musical director and his musicians were simply terrific. Congratulations to everyone involved in "Goldilocks" - a production your directors must be so proud of.
