This Junior society must be congratulated on such a high quality show . Occasionally the orchestra played a little too loud, some of the soloists had problems with the sound. This was certainly not the problem with Conner Guffog who was outstanding  as Tevye. Both singing and acting could not be faulted. His rendition of` Tradition` and `If I were a Rich Man` were brilliant Well done. How such a young man could take on such an immense part is a credit to him and the society.

Emilie Abercrombie playing Golde his wife also had a lovely voice and played this part so well.
Their daughters Tzeitel, Hodel and Chava  (Rhianna Dickman, Jessica Barlow and Emily Kirwin) were so well cast. `Matchmaker` was a lovely number. Hodel sang `Far from the Home I love` beautifully.

The two younger daughters Sprintze (Olivia Toft) and Bielke (Anna Redfern) stayed in character all the time, well done.

The men in the show all acted and sang well. These included Ben Strange (Motel),and Sam Dickman (Perchick). All the smaller roles were well done.

The matchmaker Yente was played by Elleesha Mayoh Etchells.I would have liked her to have acted a little older, but she did very well for such a young person.  I loved the dream scene,  ghostly costumes, Grandma Tzeitel (Sophie Tonge) and Fruma Sarah (Robin Morgan) together with Tevye and Golde.   Excellent.

Thank you so much for the care given to me, I so enjoy coming to St Philips.
