Following Sister Act and 9 to 5 with a more traditional choice of show was a brave decision but with a stage full of talented cast members and a delighted audience it was one that hopefully paid off.

Mick Hill played a characterful Tevye with Rachel Pattinson at his side as his wife Golde, seeing Rachel in this part I honestly think it was the best role iv seen her portray to date with a highlight of the evening being “Do You Love Me”

Their five daughters were delightfully played by Rhianne Ikin (Tzeitel) Chloe Rawson (Hodel) Francesca Pattinson (Chava) Alex Duckworth (Shprintze) Olivia Wood – Madeline Fox (Bielke) with Chava being Golde’s actual daughter it was lovely to see them on stage together. Chloe Rawson bought a tear to my eyes with the beautiful “Far from The Home I Love “

It is not possible to mention everyone by name in the excellent cast by name I loved Kathy Lovell as Yente Richard Haddock as Motel and not forgetting Matt Branson as Perchick with yet another highlight for me “Sunrise Sunset”

Effective scenery, period costumes and precise choreography ensured the production team of Veronica, Stephen and Liane had another slick professional crowd pleaser to add to their list of success’s.

I really enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to see you all in Hairspray.

Thank you for your hospitality once again
