Directed by Brian Godman, this play deals with a confidence trickster Victor, very well played by Terry Gardiner, who was utterly convincing as the ex con who had just returned from a spell in prison and resides with his sister and brother in law. His sister  Valerie (Peggy Tilly) always defending her brother was well portrayed. Her husband Kevin (Keith Olding) was well cast as the long suffering Estate Agent having to put up with his brother in law. A wealthy widow Lucy (Trisha Haley) staying with Kevin and Valerie catches the eye of Victor. The set up is further complicated when bank manager Tank (Peter Samuel), Jeweller Toby (John Siebert) and  ex con Soapy (Peter Jewell) arrive on the scene. All  playing their parts well adding to the confusion. The play’s mixture of money, diamonds and ex cons made for a  well presented and thoroughly enjoyable evening giving the audience something to laugh about. Well done Pets for a very entertaining evening.

Stage managed by Graham Lonsdale. A very attractive set designed by Brian Godman and constructed by Pets members and helpers. Lighting Chris Govey, Sound Rowan Lonsdale and Ben Tilly.
