Rugby Theatre performed Everybody's Talking about Jamie the story follows Jamie who is 16 doesn’t quiet fit in and is supported , loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies, and steps out of the darkness into the spotlight

The principal cast consists of Louis Dutton as Jamie, Louis gave 100% to the role and looked to fully embody the character. He had excellent vocals, stage presence and characterization.

Suriyah Mawee as Pritti Pasha was a lovely performance to watch, and has a lovely singing voice, and worked excellently with Louis.  

Dexter Robinson as Dean Paxton portrayed the part very well, showing great characterization within the performance.

Kim Arnold as a Margaret New (Jamie's Mum) and Danielle Burrows as Margaret's best friend Ray was superb and had great chemistry with each other and excellent vocals.

Natalie Van Spelde as Miss Hedge and Jon Andrews as Hugo/Loco Chanelle  were both excellently played and characterized. The smaller role of Jamies Dad played by Sam Henshaw was also played well.

The remaining cast were full of energy, The musical numbers were lively and excellently choreographed and performed to a high standard. The set costumes, lighting and music all added to a enjoyable evening.
