Coventry Youth Operetta Group performed Everybody's Talking About Jamie. YOG performed the Teen Edition of “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie”.  story follows Jamie who is 16 doesn’t quiet fit in and is supported , loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies, and steps out of the darkness into the spotlight.

Jamie, played by Joseph Hallam, was excellently portrayed, and Joseph showed great confidence in the part, and was excellent in both vocal and character realization of the role his best friend.

Pritti Pasha, played by Marleigh Pinnock, was also excellently played, and the performance of Beautiful was a lovely rendition.

Loco Chanelle/Hugo played by Sam Edwards, had great interactions with the cast and was enjoyable to watch.

Miss Hedge was played by Maddie Davis played this part with honest reality giving the contrast between her frustration and true feelings

Margaret New played by  Elise Harris as Jamie's mum, was played with lots of emotion which came through the whole performance. Elise had lovely scenes with both Jamie and Erin Killworth, who played Ray, who also gave, who also was excellent in her role, and was fun to watch.

Special shout out to Jamie and the drag queens who did an excellent job the remaining chorus, some having a smaller speaking roles, all did very well throughout the performance. The choreography was excellently performed by the ensemble the costumes and set that suited the suited the show and it was enjoyable evenings entertainment.

The staging was very cleverly done and costumes suited the style of the performance.
