YOG performed the 2003 popular Christmas film ELF. Buddy is a human child living in the North Pole and raised by Santa. As an adult he sets on a journey to find his birth father and true identity.

The principle cast is large: - North Pole: - From Santa Clause (Luis Callender) to Mrs. Claus (Amba McKenna) and all the Elves were smaller roles that were all full of joy and cheer with excellent characteristics. New York: - The roles of Deb (Jessica O’Callaghan), Mrs Greenway (Jessie Wilson) and Manager (Marlie Blackstock) although smaller were excellently portrayed and wonderful to watch.

Hobbs Family: - Walter Hobbs (Martin Foley), Emily Hobbs (Megan Hine) and Millie Hobbs (Millie Seel) all had wonderful chemistry with each other and brought the family to life and excelled in their roles.

Jove (Megan Bignall) has a hard tougher side and soft side to her character, both aspects were showcased well with plenty of characteristics and wonderful vocal ability. Buddy (Mason Dew) certainly stole the show and gave an excellent performance for the character and was full of joy with a wonderful stage presence.

The full line-up of principal cast and ensemble carried out the characters with ease and all involved had beautiful singing ability from small to big numbers. Costumes, set and lighting, all added to the overall performance.

A lovely afternoon's entertainment to get you in the Christmas mood.
