This two handed play set in Dr. Feldmann’s consulting room tells the story of Stephanie Anderson who has Multiple sclerosis and is slipping into depression. She begins to see a psychiatrist and hates him for not feeling her pain. Her husband is also moving away from her so all she does is lock herself away listening to her old music she may never be able to play again. The play, written by Tom Kempinski saw Alison Daly playing Stephanie and Ken Mackey as Dr. Feldmann and kept the audience on the edge of their seats. I am still wondering how Alison managed to navigate her electric wheelchair around the confines of the stage. The set builders at Sutton Arts did it again with a fine set. If Davina Barnes plans to retire from directing after this production she certainly retired on a High.
