This concert was dedicated to Glyn Bower, a long-standing member of the society and transported the audience on a journey from the 1920’s to the present day with the theme of musical films.
The company sang well and were joined by members of their youth section especially in the ‘Bugsy Medley’.
Even though this seemed a very short programme it was packed full of enthusiasm. I especially enjoyed the chorus rendition of ‘Hallelujah’.
I would have liked to see a narrator guiding us through the different era’s.
Well done to you all and I am looking forward to ‘Sweeney Todd’.
