When three vintage lady office cleaners are told they are being made redundant in favour of younger personnel, their initial feelings of shock and resentment turn into how they can make the company pay.  They find an unused office with a separate telephone number and use the number to set up a sex chat line over which they hope to make loads of money to cushion their forthcoming dismissal.  For the audiences, what follows is two hours of hilarious and outrageous fun, with naughty and rib tickling one liners and double entendres galore, I loved it.Jenny Cooper, Jayne Brookes-Clayton and Jane Wilton played the three feisty ladies, Gladys, Olive and Elsie.  All gave impeccable portrayals, with a huge number of words to learn, they never faltered, each performance was well characterised, and the comedy was smoothly executed.   The timing with the phones was superb.

The male member of the cast was Gary Peake, who played Dave the cocky upstart supervisor to perfection, who, in the hilarious finale got his come-uppance via Henry the Vacuum Cleaner, literally.

It is said this play was described as a searing indictment of ageism in the 21st century, heavily disguised as a hysterical laugh out loud heart-warming comedy.  I echo that entirely, congratulations Jayne and Paul, and the cast, on a brilliant production.
