~~I have never managed to visit this company before, but after receiving an Invite I jumped at the chance, and I am so glad I did. The company staged their programme in a fantastic room in a church. Ideal for this type of show, which was sent modern times. They did not require much scenery as their wonderful voices took you on a journey.
Leading the company was Ethan Cruxton as Eisenstein and Philippa Cruxton as Rosalinda. Both had superb voices. Playing the role of Dr Falke was Lee Davies, whose Baritone voice was a joy to listen to. Every member of this society gave their all, they really enjoyed performing and the audience appreciated this.
George Island (Musical Director) was so unobtrusive. As the company were not using mics he played everything at just the right level, so that every word could be heard.
Jessica Dalton should be proud of this production, as should the entire cast.
This is a society not to miss.
