It was truly lovely to be back seeing Magna and another of Betty Morris’ wonderful pantos.

The hall which hosted the performance is an asset to the group and I am sure the local community as well.  The lighting was wonderful, and the set was simple and effective.

The show opened to a toe tapping tune Seven Nation Army and the toe tapping tunes continued with Don’t Stop Thinking about Tomorrow, bobbing along and La Vida Loca to name a few.

I loved the choreography and the music created by Laura Gwynne which was well executed and I especially loved Gloria Gusset’s moves in La Vida Loca!  Also loved Laura Gwynne’s moves in a few of the numbers as well.

This panto had its modern references to influencers (something that Youtube and social media is not short of!) also “Ness” from Gavin and Stacy dropped by to keep everyone in line in Act 2!

The costumes were colourful, especially in Act 2 and I really loved Fairy Clanger’s sparkly tiara!

Every part was well taken, and the younger members stole the show with the little touches of characterisations with their parts.

The jokes were clever, and the singing was good.

Thank you so much for letting me come along at the last minute to see you all, I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening!
